Largely self-taught, Peter specialised in pencil drawing for many years, first Black & White then his own distinctive style of coloured pencil work which appears almost photographic at a distance. A number of Peter’s pencil drawings were published as limited editions in 1999/2000.

Having felt he’d exhausted what he could do with the medium he moved onto painting with acrylic on canvas, just 18 months ago.

The pieces shown on his web site represent the best of this last period of work. The subject matter is quite a mix as Peter is still experimenting with the medium. His passion is to capture life in all its fullness, from human life to still life.

Peter is planning to be published again soon with new work and is always happy to undertake commissions.
